Website overhaul

I am preparing to put more effort into my poor website. An updated bio, more decorations, more blog posts!

I thought I'd do book reviews but then I didn't get past a draft of even one book! I'm amazed at myself for my ability to put things off, even if I want to do them.

But I've been giving blog posts a lot of thought, still. There are so many things I want to express into the void: my opinions, life updates, fun things I've experienced. But social media is so wack. Super wack. I haven't felt comfortable sharing my personal life on social media in many years. So I've been thinking, why not just pretend my personal website is my social media? Then I can have the feeling of social media without the anxienty of sharing on a site owned by disgusting people. I own this website. It's mine, and I'm not disgusting. And I can share as much of myself as I'd like and feel secure in the knowledge that no one will ever look at it anyway!

I'm also planning on donating 1% of my sales to an advocacy group. I think I've figured out which one, but I still have some time to think. I don't make much in sales as yet but that could change at any time (fingers crossed!) and even a few bucks is still something where before there was nothing. I think it's important.

Anyway, 2025 is going to be lit here at Changeling.
